Mar 13– Planted one square foot of Cherry Belle (Livingston Seed 2018) using the scatter method described under the carrots post. I also planted three square feet of Sparkler White Tip (Livingston Seed 2020) also using the scatter method.

Mar 19- Planted two square feet of Sparkler White Tip (2020). The seeds planted on the 13th have not sprouted.

Mar 21– Mar 13 planting has finally sprouted! 2018 seeds are on the left

Apr 1- Planted one square foot of 2018 Cherry Belle.

May 18- The dense scatter planting did not seem to work. As the plants grew slowly and the radishes never developed.

However, a square I planted mid-late Apr, (new Cherry Belle seeds still scattered, but less densely) grew well enough. They were on the small side, so we waited to harvest them and so they got a little spongy.
